As fourth generatiton farmers, agriculture is in their blood. It all started with a dream to get out of the hustle and bustle of California, to slow down and enjoy the important things in life. With a passion for farming and family, Ahualoa Family Farms was the perfect fit for this ohana’s new adventure.
Since taking over the business in 2017, the family has put their 25 years of farming experience to work, and then some! They have expanded the farming operation, with plans to start a macadamia tree nursery, and plant new macadamia orchards.
On top of all that, they have also resurrected Hawai'i’s oldest macadamia nut factory, installed new equipment, and turned it into their new macadamia processing facility!
