Granola Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup macadamia nuts

3 cups old fashioned oats

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1/3 cup honey

3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Pop the almonds into a blender and pulse until they are finely chopped. Pour them into a large bowl. Coarsely chop the macadamias and pop into the bowl with the almonds.
  3. Add in the oats, salt, and coconut sugar and stir to combine.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk the honey, coconut oil, and vanilla together (if the honey isn't runny enough, you may have to warm in a small saucepan, or pop into the microwave for 40 seconds)
  5. Pour the honey mixture over the oats and mix well until everything is coated.
  6. Pour the oat mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet and spread out evenly.
  7. Pop into the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Stir and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before breaking into clusters and serving.
  9. Store in an airtight container or freeze
